Town system review

Unique feature of Norn Saber which allows to build your own base, develop it, train your own army and challenge other players by attacking their bases. When you getting to battleship, you can immediately activate the "Town simulation system" by clicking on following terminal.

Use all your ingenuity to create unique town. Most important thing is if the player went offline the city will continue to develop (building objects you've ordered and mine resources) so you don't have to stay in town or even be online. By the way, after you've built main building (Fort) you can access your base instantly by clicking next icon in menu bar.

  

Though this icon is replacement of original one which had Castle name and cause some confusion.

Town simulation means simulation at first place so your character can't do anything for town (unless it's attack or defense). You can wander at town area or use arrow keys to observe it, both ways are working. Mainly everything here working as in any other economy simulation game. You have few types of resources which can be accumulated by certain building and spent to buy any other object or unit.

Beware: after you upgrade Fort building to LV2 and place it at Strategic map your town will turn to be available for attack for other players and NPC Hades army within next 24 hours.

Now lets see how it works.

Mainly everything here working as in any other stragegy game. You have few types of resources which can be accumulated by certain building and spent to buy any other object or unit.

Starting with town

Let's start with learning about interface any basics around here. 

 

Contents of top panel left to right:

  • Mini-map: to move camera all over your town area.
  • MAP: allows to place your town at Strategic map, which allows to develop town further and challenge other players.
  • LIST: allows to check whole building tech tree to find out whats building missing to develop your town further.
  • Resources.
  • Resources income.
  • Town statistics.

Resources:

 Type Description
 GoldCurrent amount of gold and max amount you can accumulate.
Can be mined at Gold mine. Max amount can be increased by building additional Warehouse.
Has nothing in common with Gold currency you using to buy goods from other players!
 OreCurrent amount of ore and max amount you can accumulate.
Can be mined at Ore mine. Max amount can be increased by building additional Warehouse.
 FoodCurrent amount of food and max amount you can accumulate.
Can be gathered at Farm and Crop field. Max amount can be increased by building additional Warehouse.
 PeopleCurrent population and max amount you can place.
Population growth begins after construction of Fortress. It's endlessly increasing supply.
Max amount can be increased by building additional House, Apartment or Skyscraper.

Resource summary income:

 Type Description
 Gold+Current increament of gold per hour. 
Is summary gain from all building which gathering it.
 Ore+Current increament of ore per hour.
Is summary gain from all building which gathering it.
 Food+Current increament of food per hour.
Is summary gain from all building which gathering it.
 People+Current increament of population per hour.
Is summary gain from all building which related to it.

Town statistics:

 Type Description
 ProsperityIndex value which determines how convenient your town is designed.
It can be increased when building is getting connected to adjacent road. All roads should form one solid network and touch Fortress. This value important to allow your civilians and military units move through town.
When you have over 30 prosperity and enough resources you can upgrade Fortress to Level 2 and place it to Strategic map.
 Military strengthSummary index from amount of defensive structures placed in your town. Smarter layout and amount of them brings more points to this value.
 TaxesTaxes which are getting collected from your population. Getting determined from many factors. Coming to you in form of gold which will be added to thy current resources.

Now let's observe your building tools:

Main is Handcart, which can't be destroyed, so even if enemy whiped whole your town you can always rebuild it from zero again. It allows to build four essential buildings. Core of any base is Fort.

To build it click on Handcart, click on Fort icon and place somewhere on town map. Building process will begins, this isn't instant so building things takes some time. You don't have to wait it, you can go offline or back to training your character. When something is done your Town icon at bottom bar starting to flash. Once Fort is done you'll get a Terminal on very top corner near the Handcart.

Terminal can provide you information about whats happen in town in form of messages, pity they are on chinese. But don't worry, usually it is report of construction completion, reduction of building's hp, taxes collected report and etc. Also it may inform if disaster happened.

Now to proceed, put on few FarmsGold and Stone mines construction at same time.
